As a Konig owner, this hurts. That said, at least the rim is easily available for replacement . If that was an antique Panasport or RS Watanabe, then it’d be even more painful to see.

I think if the rim isn’t bent (I really don’t think it is) you can get those Konigs restored quite easily.

It might work with newer, safer, and more valuable cars but not with a rare targa Celica from the 70s. It’d have gotten written-off...also you don’t hold your lane in a small Japanese car from the 70s against a dim-witted suburban bitch in a ‘Burban.

Dash Cam. Do it so small and easy to use these days. Pretty sure you could take the footage to a police dept and file a report and make a claim to the drivers insurance. Not sure this would work 100% of the time but if they broke a law you’d at least have the possibility of being covered at their expense. Here’s the one I use.
